In 2004 she was then appointed as Front Office Supervisor and continued to grow and learn in the Industry that she felt so passionate about. In 2006 she joined the Beach House team for 6 months and returned to the Leisure Bay Luxury Suites later that year as Assistant GM. In 2007 Leisure Bay was appointed a new General Manager, Jaco Jacobs, and Elbe was very fortunate to work under his guidance as she was taught things in a different light.

In 2008 the new Harbour Bridge Hotel and Suites opened and the opportunity arose for her to become part of the opening team. While continuing her loyalty to Relais Hotels, the opportunity presented itself to become General Manager of Simon’s Town Quayside Hotel in September 2009. “This has been a very positive move for me working with such friendly and determined staff as the Simon’s Town Team.
